Yes. No case law or legislation dealing with golf carts but would presumably be considered an "automobile" under the Insurance Act as it is a self-propelled vehicle.

However, whether the Automobile Part of the Insurance Act would apply to a golf cart would depend on whether (i) the golf cart would be required to be registered under the Motor Vehicle Act ; or (ii) whether it was subject to a contract providing insurance in a form approved by the Superintendent.
